Existing construction rarely reveals every condition in advance. Controlled demolition exposes structure, services, deterioration, and earlier alterations so the next decision can be based on what is actually present.

Flooring, windows, trim, circulation paths, and occupied areas require a protection strategy before demolition starts. The work is then opened in a sequence that preserves access and keeps new decisions visible.
